A finned-tube heat exchanger comprises a series of toroidal finned tubes attached one above the other so that fins from one tube project into the spaces between the fins of the adjoining tube. Bosses for inlet and outlet connections are located on both upper and lower faces of the tube 180 deg. apart, enabling any series or parallel connection arrangement to be made. Exchanger is used for gas or air heating and cooling applications.
