Self-priming electric pump for liquids - has stainless steel socket integral with diffuser for hydraulic section to reduce friction

The electric pump comprises a centrifuge coupled to a pre-filter via an intermediate thrust chamber. The pump motor shaft rotates a wheel with a number of radial vanes within a diffusion chamber. The liq. enters the latter coaxially and is expelled by centrifugal force to the thrust chamber defined by two cooperating concave discs joined together. The pre-filter has a vertical filter insert contained within an outer housing which is sealed by a hermetic cover and with an external aspiration terminal and a discharge conduit leading to the axial input for the pump wheel. The diffuser cooperating with the axial input is integral with an inoxidisable steel sleeve fitting into the input and providing cushioning for the connection with the wheel.
