Each traverse braced bracket has a frame (3) and riser (4), the frame bearing on the height of the wall (1) via an abutment (5). Two light articulated frameworks rest on the riser and supple material panels such as nets are fixed to them to catch falling material and personnel. Each abutment has an eyelet (8) on its rear end. Each riser has a hook (10) at its top retaining the framework top edge, and has a hollow ferrule (6) at the bottom, with a pin traversing ferrule and riser fixing the latter to the frame.
