PURPOSE:To make a granular slag collision plate in an air tunnel withstandable in long-term use without causing deformation and cracking by the effect of thermal load of granular slag by constituting said plate by installing multiple water-cooled boxlike bodies thereby constituting said collision plate in producing the granular slag by blowing molten slag in the air tunnel. CONSTITUTION:In producing granular slag by blowing blast furnace molten slag in an air tunnel by means of compressed air, a granular slag collision plate in the air tunnel is constituted by welding water-cooled box type bodies 14 having flat surfaces in end parts and constituting collision surfaces 21d, 21e of preset flat, curved or hollow surfaces. At the time of installing the bodies 14 continuously and vertically, the top end part of the lower boxlike body is retreated from the lower end part of the upper boxlike body to stagger both bodies, whereby the stagnation of the granular slag is prevented. Since the above-mentioned collision plate is constituted of the multiple bodies 14, the exchanging of the defective boxlike bodies is easy, and since their surfaces are cooled, the granular slag collided against these is quickly cooled and does not stick on the collision plate, whereby working efficiency is improved.
