APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING, STORING AND SUPPLYING COLD IN LOW-TEMPERATURE LIQUEFIED GAS STORING PLANT

PURPOSE:To make an efficient use of the cold heat of a low-temperature liquefied gas at the time of delivering a gas liquefied under normal temperatures, by recovering and storing the cold heat by circulating and feeding a coolant having a specific weight smaller than water and separable from water to a heater for delivering the gas liquefied under normal temperatures and making ice by freezing water. CONSTITUTION:In circulating a coolant 16 in a cold heat accumulator 19 via a cold feeding pipe 21, a heater 5 and a coolant return pipe 22 by operating a coolant circulating pump 20, a low-temperature liquefied gas supplied from a delivery pipe 3 is heated through heat exchanging with the coolant in the heater 5 and delivered as a gas liquefied under normal temperatures 6. On the other hand, the coolant is cooled and returned to the cold heat accumulator 19 and transmits the cold to water 15. Resultantly, water is cooled and cold is stored by making ice 15. The coolant 16 in the cold heat accumulator 19 is always kept at a temperature approximately equal to the temperature of the ice 25 and a produced gas 9 is cooled (liquefied) by carrying the coolant 16 to a condenser 13. The coolant thus warmed is returned into water 15 in the cold heat accumulator 19 and cooled again by the same.
