WELDING METHOD OF AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL PLATE WHICH IS FREE FROM CRACK OF HEAT-AFFECTED ZONE

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a crack of a heat-affected zone, and to raise operability, by applying an oxidation preventive agent whose main component is a metallic oxide, to a welding joint part, and welding it, in case when an austenitic stainless steel plate is subjected to shielded gas welding under binding force. CONSTITUTION:A welding joint part of an austenitic stainless steel cold rolled plate is degreased, and thereafter, an oxidation preventive agent whose suspension main component is a metallic oxide is applied, and shielded gas welding is executed by applying a tension load from the outside and operating the retraint force to a weld zone. Also, the oxidation preventive agent whose suspension main component is a metallic oxide is incrinerated at a high temperature, therefore, it can be removed easily by buffing, etc., and pickling is not required.
