AL-NI ALLOY AND ALLOY CONTAINING AL AND NI FOR MANUFACTURING FINE POWDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an Al-Ni alloy which can be finely pulverized with ease by mechanical pulverization by preparing an alloy consisting of specified percentages of Al and Ni and contg. an intermetallic compound Ni2Al3. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of 37-58wt% Al and the balance Ni and contg. an intermetallic compound Ni2Al3 is prepared. The atomic size factor of Al to Ni is =about 13%. At least 1 kind of metal selected from =2.4wt% Zr, =1.4wt% B, =20wt% Si and 15-32wt% Mg basing on the amount of the Al and =35wt% Fe basing on the amount of Ni may be substituted for part of the Al in the Al-Ni alloy. The Al-Ni alloy can be finely pulverized up to =about 10mum with ease.
