AXIAL PISTON TYPE ROTARY MACHINE EMPLOYING FLUID PRESSURE

PURPOSE:To increase the volumetric efficiency of a hydraulic rotary machine, by decreasing the dead volume in a cylinder chamber by positioning the center of inclined rotation of a swash plate with some displacement from the axis passing the center of a cylinder block toward the top dead point of pistons. CONSTITUTION:In case that an axial piston type rotary machine of this invention is applied in a swash-plate pump in which a plurality of pistons 11 are disposed in a cylinder block 8 that is turned by a turning shaft 2 according to the inclination angle of a swash plate 31 the inclination angle of which is controlled through operation of an actuator 17 and the displacement volume of the pistons 11 is made variable, the center of inclined rotation of the swash plate 31 is set at a position O2 registering with the top dead point of the pistons 11 inserted of the conventional position on the axis A passing the center of the cylinder block 8. At this position, the swash plate 31 is supported pivotally by a casing 1 by the aid of a shaft fixed to a bracket 32. Further, a balancing actuator 33 is disposed at a position located on the opposite side of the piston 11 and displaced from the top dead point toward the bottom dead point of the pistons 11.
