PRODUCTION OF HIGH CORROSION RESISTANT ALLOY CLAD STEEL PLATE FREE FROM SURFACE CABURIZATION OF CLADDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To prevent the carburization of the surface parts of a cladding material by coating a release agent having the effect of preventing carburization on the surface of the cladding material on the side opposite from the surface to be bound with a base material to specific thickness and drying the same then combining these like a sandwich, sealing and welding the four sides thereof and rolling the assembly under heating. CONSTITUTION:A base metal 1 is placed on the lowermost part, and a cladding material 2 to be joined to the top surface of the material 1 is superposed thereon, thence a release agent 3 having the effect of preventing carburization is coated on the top surface of the material 2. This agent 3 is dried, and a cladding material 2 is superposed thereon, and further a base metal 1' thereon to form the blank material combined like a sandwich. Straps 4 are secured by means of weld zones 5 to the four sides of such combined blank material to seal the inside. Thereafter, this is rolled under heating. The release agent prepd. by adding one or two kinds of chromite powder or soda glass powder at 100- 800g/l ratios to 2-100vol% aq. water glass soln. is used.
