PURPOSE:To enable the extrusion forming of a feed without destroying thermally unstable nutrious components and useful microorganisms, by granulating at a low temperature of =70 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The extrusion granulator used in the present invention is furnished with a plastic die plate 2,3 (perforated plate) for the forming and granulation, which is reinforced with a metallic die plate 1. The use of a plastic material having low frictional resistance and high abrasion resistance enables the suppression of the frictional heat generated in the granulation, the keeping of the temperatures of the feed raw material and the feed product in the granulation process at =70 deg.C, preferably =60 deg.C, and prevention of the degradation of the thermally unstable vitamins and the destruction of useful microorganisms.
