PURPOSE:To obtain a dry type laser-sensitive recording material capable of crystallizing silver particles when subjected to irradiation of lasers and auxiliary heating, as well as having excellent sensitivity, resolution, and storage stability, by providing a lasers-sensitive layer containing an organic silver salt oxidant, a reducing agent, and a lasers absorptive dye and a lasers reflective layer. CONSTITUTION:A lasers reflective layer (A) (e.g., aluminum thin film, etc.) and a lasers sensitive layer (B) containing an organic silver salt oxidant (i), a reducing agent (ii) for said organic silver salt, a lasers absorptive dye (iii) and an organic high polymer binder (iv) (e.g., polyvinyl butylal, etc.) is provided on a supporting base plate to obtain an objective recording material. The recording material is subjected to the irradiation of lasers along with an auxiliary heating using a heat source other than the lasers in such a way as to crystallize out reduced silver particles from the organic silver salt in the laser-irradiated portion for recording.
