The prefabricated spacers are arranged between the shuttering boards between which the concrete wall is cast. They consist of I-section lightly reinforced concrete, extend over the full height of a storey and are left in situ after pouring. - Each spacer contains vertically spaced horizontal bores extending from one flange to the other to secure the boards and vertically spaced horizontal bores through its web to receive horizontal locating tubes. Alternatively, two separate concrete flanges may be connected via vertically spaced horizontal tubes or rods instead of an integral web via which the shuttering boards are secured.FL(0/3)
