Based on numerical results, it is possible to obtain the following conclusions: 1. The capacity of the cross section of the eccentrically loaded I-section steel-concrete composite column is considerable larger than the capacity of the I-section steel column and it is presented on Figure 4. This capacity is also greater then the capacity of the reinforced concrete column, which has the same size of cross section. 2. Along with the length of the column, the influence of the general stability of the structure increases too. 3. If the slenderness ratios are greater, the difference between the capacity of the I-section steel and the I-section steel-concrete composite column decrease. It is presented on Figures 1 and 2. 4. Numerical results qualify to affirmance that it is worth to use the I-section steel-concrete composite structures not only for the sake of the fire protection. The important is growing up of the capacity and strength of the structure.
