The body of the jet contains a cylindrical intermingling channel through which the yarn passed longitudinally, an air-jet canal which enters the yarn channel radially, and a threading-slot, extending the full length of the channel, whose outer edges taper outwards, and which is oriented radially at right angles to the air-jet. The slot is closed by a filler-plate whose thickness corresponds to the width of the slot, and which is removable to permit threading-up the yarn channel. At each end of the jet assembly is a slotted yarn-guide plate and a cover-plate which covers the ends of the filler-plate. - This construction enables the jet satisfactorily to process coarse yarn counts at high speeds.(0/6)
