DEVICE FOR AXIAL MOVEMENT OF ROLLERS IN A TEA PROCESSING MACHINE, AND A TEA PROCESSING MACHINE INCORPORATING SUCH DEVICE

A device for axial movement of rollers in a tea processing machine which comprises a throaded shaft, clamped to the machine frame, for each of the rollers, one end of the said shaft being operatively connected to one end of the respective rollers through a mounting block, adapted to be displaced in axial direction of the roller in relation to the machine frame, and said block housing the bearing at the said end of the roller in non-displaceable manner, while the other end of the roller being also slidably mounted through another mounting block on the machine frame and the bearing at the said other end being housed in the said other mounting block in non-displaceable manner, the arrangement being such that on rotational movement of the said threaded in either direction, relative to the machine frame, through its other end projecting out of the machine frame, the respective roller is caused to have a axial displacement without causing any relative displacement between the rolling members and the inner and outer raceways of the said bearing, and between the bearings and their respective housings.
