Multicoloured writing stick mfr. - in which thin layers of different colour paste are compressed and extruded

A number of thin layers of different coloured paste are compressed to e.g. 0.5mm thickness and laid on top of each other (3) according to a predetermined colour sequence. They are then positioned under a frame (5), in which a number of adjacent positioned matrices (4) are vertically reciprocatingly moved by hydraulic or pneumatic jacsk (6). Two or three layers of similar colours in the stack may be followed by successive layers of different colours. The process may alternatively be adapted to produce the sticks in the form of pencils.
