The armband consists of a length of non-elastic light-reflecting tape (2) attached to both ends (3) of a length of elastic liqht-reflecting tape (2) to form a loop. The reflective layer on the elastic part (2) may be produced by luminous powder or granules which form stripes on the elastic. The two parts may be attached using adhesive, heat-sealing or staples.
