The spring (41) acts on the contact bridge (45) to close the contacts (10, 47), completing the circuit between the terminals (2, 3). The circuit includes a fuse (23) in a holder (20) which may be withdrawn from the front of the switch for fuse changing. When the switch is closed, the lever (36) bears against an oblique surface of the fuse holder preventing its withdrawal. With the switch open, the fuse holder is not supported by the edge (52) of the disc (40) and may be pressed down at its outer end so that its base (24) rests against the switch housing surface (26). The fuse holder may not be withdrawn, but not completely removed, the end of the spring (19) preventing this.
