ADMINISTRATION OF PEPTIDE TO MALE OR FEMALE MAMMAL TO PREVENT REPRODUCTION

A method for preventing reproduction by administering to male mammals a peptide which inhibits the secretion of gonadotropins by the pituitary gland and inhibits the release of steroids by the gonads. The peptide has the structure: p-Glu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-D-Trp-Leu-Arg-Pro-NH-CH2-CH3.
