摘要
The invention relates to a prosthesis for persons who have been amputated at the thigh, which prosthesis comprises a prosthesis upper part 2, which supports a stump casing 1 for the amputation stump, and a prosthesis lower part 4 which is provided with a foot prosthesis 5 and which is flexibly connected to the upper part by means of a knee joint mechanism 3 having inbuilt spring members 31 which produce a prosthesis-straightening moment between the upper part and the lower part of the prosthesis. The stump casing, which can be tightened around the stump, is pivotably attached, by means of a bearing 13, to a casing part 9 which is arranged, adjustably and displaceably, on a bar element 7 which, together with the casing part, forms the upper part of the prosthesis. The stump casing can be set in a desired position relative to the casing part using locking members 14, and the casing part 9 can be set relative to the bar element using locking screws which are arranged at the lower part of the casing part. The lower part 4 of the prosthesis comprises two tubes which are assembled in a telescope-like manner, with the outer 20 tube being connected to the foot prosthesis 5 and the inner 21 tube being connected at the top to the knee joint mechanism. A locking mechanism 25, for locking the tubes 20, 21 in a desired adjustment position relative to each other, is arranged around the tubes. In order to prevent any risk of a slipping movement relative to each other between the casing part 9 and the bar element 7 when these parts have been locked in the desired relative positions by tightening the locking screws, the surfaces of the bar element facing the screws are provided with oblique surface parts which form an angle with the longitudinal axis of the bar element. The stump casing is preferably made such that its rigidity or hardness is greatest at its rear part which adjoins the casing part 9, with this rigidity of hardness then decreasing gradually or stepwise from that point forwards.
