Delimited space intended for protection of materials and people and also intended to be buriable below a ground surface 3, 3'. The space has two rotationally symmetrical end portions. The space consists of a bottom portion 2a, an intermediate portion 2b, an upper portion 2c and a top part 2d. The end portions are designed with a double-curved surface 2e where the curvature corresponds to a partly spherical shape. The radius of curvature in a horizontal plane is greater than the radius of curvature R2 in a vertical plane. All the wall portions belonging to the space are made from a sandwich construction consisting of an inner and an outer cover layer made of reinforced polyester with added fire-resistant material and with a rigid core made of cellular plastic. In particular the central portion 2f is designed with side surfaces which extend from the middle and upwards and converge and are intended to take up vertical forces from armoured vehicles and trucks passing above the space on the surface of the ground.
