The appts. treats skin and/or hair, and includes a boiler for steam generation heated by means of at least a resistance and an ozone generating lamp associated with its electric circuit. The boiler communicates a nozzle, with a mixing-ozonizing chamber in which the lamp is positioned. The chamber communicates with one or more diffusers and/or with one or more pipes for connection with utilization device, e.g. a hair-dryer. The appts. may also be provided with an arrangement for generating a cold and hot airflow to be controlled independently of the steam and ozone generation.
