The presentinvention utilizes a unique combination of formation densitylogging, dielectric constant logging and gravity meter measurementtechniques to arrive at this mud filtrate penetration index? whichmay also be used to evaluate the probable reliability of residualoil determinations made by these or other logging techniques.
