AbstractA turntable in a bottle-processing machine, more particularly alabelling machine, has a plurality of sensor-controlled rotating platesarranged in a circle, and a flat, stationary control-cam. The cam isscanned as the turntable rotates by the rotating-plate sensors each sensorpivoting a rotating plate back and forth by means of a lever-arm guidedtrailingly in the control-cam. A gearwheel connected to the lever-armis arranged between and meshes with gearwheels of two adjacent rotatingplates. The two rotating plates controlled in rotation by the same gearwheel,are mounted, together with the gearwheel and its lever-arm, in a commoncup-shaped housing-block. The turntable has sockets in which the housing-block may be secured, in a predetermined rotational position, by means ofstops, catches, or the like.
