PROCESS FOR THE SEPARATION OF PALLADIUM FROM THE PRODUCTS DERIVED FROM THE CARBONYLATION OF DIENES CONJUGATED IN THE PRESENCE OF PALLADIUM

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Process for separating palladium from the products of the carbonylation reaction of carbon monoxide conjugated dienes in the presence of an alcohol, a halogenated hydracid and a palladium catalyst, con-resistant to be contacting the products of the reac-tion carbonylation with a quaternary ammonium salt, quaternary phosphonium or quaternary arsonium, an alcohol and a hydrocarbon solvent apolar aliphatic or cycloaliphatic, and recovering after decantation palla-dium and quaternary onium salt in alcoholic solution and the products of the carbonylation reaction in hydrocarbon solution. This method has the prin cipal-advantage that the separated Pd is in alcoholic solution and can be recycled for a new opera-tion while retaining its activity.
