METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A BUNDLE, PREFERABLY CONTAINING PAIRS, IN A TELEPHONE CABLE

A number of pairs (1) are arranged in circular form of a disc (2) with guiding dies and are bunched to a circular bundle in a die (13). Before that, the relative order of the pairs are repeatedly changed by passing them through two oscillating rings (7) and (8) and an excentrically placed ring (10) with an inner waveformed surface (15). An undetermined number of pairs will be gripped by the waveformed surface (15) and rotated together with the rotating ring (10) until they lose the contact and fall back to the rest of the pairs in the bundle in a random way. The rings (7), (8) and (10) may be driven with random variation in start, stop and speed.
