A sandwich panel comprises a cellular core between outer skins at least one skin having been configured by thermoforming the panel on a microporous mould. The core may be of corrugated configuration or may comprise parallel walls and the panel is pref. made by extrusion followed by vacuum forming. A pref. material is polypropylene. The panels find particular use in the interior of motor vehicles, e.g. trim panels. A panel which has had both surfaces vacuum formed is of use in a sun visor. The invention facilitates easy mfr..
