VENTILATION DEVICE FOR THE CONTINUOUS AND STATIONARY REGULATION IN AN OVERFLOW SIPHON

The ventilation device for the continuous and stationary regulation of the flow in an overflow siphon has an air inlet at the top of the siphon, whereby the air flow entering the upper part of the siphon is adjustable by means of an adjusting device which is actuated by a control device in connection with the variations in the upstream water level for changing the clear width of the air duct in a continuous manner. With the air inlet is associated with a throttle whose control valve is operable according to the H level of the upstream water (2) by a sensor in contact with the upstream water (2 ). The throttle member may be a throttle valve located in the pipe (10), which is actuated by a control rod (12) connected with a pressure transmitting medium which is in contact with the upstream water (2).
