Recovery vehicle equipped at its rear part with raisable anchoring spades (3) and with a towing triangle (10) pointing outwards. In order to lift up the front of the vehicle (22) to be towed, the triangle is connected to the anchoring spades by tie-rods (18), and the tip (12) of the triangle is connected to the front axle (27) of the vehicle to be repaired by a drawbar (23) and a universal coupling (28, 29, 30). The drawbar carries a block (33) which is placed beneath the front bumper (34). The assembly is lifted up by extending the rod of the jacks (5) actuating the anchoring spades. IMAGE
