How to improve the applicability of pigment yellow 13

Add bis-diazonium salt soln. contg. sulfuric acid (obtd. from 25.3 wt.% 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine) to acetate buffer slurry (finely dispersed by dissolving 42.1 wt.% 1-acetoacetyl-amino-2,4-dimethyl benzene in 600 wt.% water) at 20-25 deg.C, heat suspended soln. for 4 hrs at 125 deg.C 1n autoclave equipped with a stirrer after complete rxn., cool to below 70 deg.C, filter, wash, dry, and pulverize to give the improved pigment yellow 13. In application properties, the product compares to the pigment that was given thermal aftertreatment for 4hrs at 125 deg.C in the presence of 40% aq. isobutanol.
