PURPOSE:To attain accurate switching operation, by clipping a front door switching drive pin of a record player with a driver cam of a slide base and a guide cam of a cabinet and switching the front door in interlocking with the movement of the slide base. CONSTITUTION:A front door switching drive pin 10 is clipped with a holding section 9a of a drive cam fitted to a slide base loading a turntable and a straight line section 8a incorporated with a track 7 fixed to a player cabinet. When the slide base is placed at slightly front side of the stored position, the pin 10 is driven back and forth along the section 8a of the guide cam to drive the front door, and when the slide base is placed before the prescribed position, the pin 10 is stopped at a recess 8b of a guide cam to hold the open position. Thus, the front door is switched in an accurate timing in interlocking with the movement of the slide base.
