Continuous rolling equipment (連續 壓延 設備)

The continuous rolling mill has horizontal and vertical stands arranged alternately, with rolling guides between the work rolls of adjacent stands. Roll stands together with their roll guides are movable in a direction crossing the rolling line to a position where guides and rolls can be changed. A supporting frame supporting roll stands and guides is used to move them on rails to the changing position. Roll stands, pref. the vertical roll stands, can be moved w.r.t. adjacent stands by an offsetting arrangement, e.g. wheels running on rails and auxiliary rails.
