Thermoplastic, polyester-containing moulding compositions are prepared by mixing and melting together at least one linear, saturated polyester and at least one macromolecular, highly fluorinated hydrocarbon, which may optionally contain ether oxygen atoms. Further additives, such as dyes, pigments and stabilisers, can be added. The moulding compositions are processed by extrusion or injection moulding. They are readily demouldable and are extremely stable to heat and hydrolysis. They are used for mouldings, film or bristles which are subjected to heat and/or hydrolysis.
