Device to measure the quality of water taken from rivers or estuaries, specially for use in nuclear power stations, includes a box with a water inlet and outlet, a pump and all sensors for the water parameters (dissolved oxygen concentration, pH-value, conductivity, temp.). A cable supplies the power for the immersed box and transmits the readings to the control station. A hose also supplies compressed air or detergents to keep the piping and sensors clean. Freedom from incrustation ensures a high functional reliability. It provides constant supervision.
