The invention relates to the suspension (co)polymerization of vinyl chloride in the presence of a radical initiator and at least a primary and a secondary suspension stabilizer. The present primary stabilizer must be selected from the group consisting of water-soluble, partly hydrolysed polyvinyl acetates and methylhydroxypropyl cellulose.
