Method for evaluating pulses or pulse patterns to be transmitted in a line circuit, in particular for a computer-controlled device for traffic simulation in telephone switching systems
Method for evaluating pulses or pulse patterns to be transmitted in a line circuit, in particular for a computer-controlled device for traffic simulation in telephone switching systems
Pulse patterns, which differ in terms of their temporal course and type, are to be checked along with individual pulses, and a differentiation is to be carried out if necessary in the case of audible tones on the basis of their temporal composition. A temporal image of these transmitted information signals is provided by the initial state of corresponding indication switching means (E11-Exm). For an information signal which is to be expected and which may essentially have any pulse pattern, a sequence of individual check categories (PK1-PK4) is composed in order to evaluate the initial state. These categories are selected from a plurality of fundamentally possible checks based on the known correct temporal composition for the respective case. The check categories may, for example, involve checking for the presence or absence of rise or fall. At the same time, because of the previously known correct temporal course for the information signal, a time span is specified which is derived therefrom and which determines the efficacy of the respective check category. In particular in the application of the method for a computer-controlled traffic simulation device, information signals which may differ for the same function depending on the respective telephone system, can thus be taken into account in simple fashion.
