In a device for the extraction of ground heat from groundwater and/or the ground surrounding the groundwater, by means of a probe which is inserted into the ground and serves as heat exchanger and in which a plastic tube is arranged in a corrugated pipe, which tube conducts the intermediate transfer medium into the lower end of the probe, from where it flows upwards into the intermediate space between the plastic tube and the corrugated pipe, the corrugated pipe which is made of metal bears on its outside a thin plastic layer. The lower end of the corrugated pipe is sealed with a shrink-tube which is located both on the end piece and on the lower part of the corrugated pipe. IMAGE
