The present invention entitled "Working file for a book with art, photographic and advertising prints" contains a book, in which according to Figure 1 the text part (3), which is printed on relatively simple, if appropriate, non-woodfree paper, can be completely or partially separated from picture prints (2), reproduced on quality paper, into two separate parts. In this case, these parts can be opened out independently of each other and the sheets of the picture part can be removed from the book in order, for example, to be framed in a mount. In this case, division of the picture part from the text part is only possible due to the fact that, according to the invention, the cover of the book is formed by a three-part file (4), a book back or a corresponding fold being provided in each case between two adjacent file parts. In this case, the text part is bound between the left part (4a) and the central part (4b) of the file and the book back (5) at that point, and the pile of picture prints is arranged removably on the right part (4c) of the file, a binding or attachment of the picture prints being provided at the right edge (11) of said file part.
