The invention relates to a stretching-bending apparatus for levelling thin metal strips, having a plurality of bending rollers of small diameter which plunge into the metal strip. Arranged ahead of the bending rollers for the purpose of supplying the plunge gap formed between the metal strip and the bending rollers with lubricating fluid as a function of the strip speed in the direction of strip feed are spray nozzles which form lubricating wedges.
