In a direction-finding and locating system having several spatially separate receiving stations and a central station connected to each receiving station, data messages, which are simultaneously sent out in the receiving stations and correspond to simultaneously taken measurement samples, arrive at the central station at different times due to different transit times from different receiving stations to the central station, as a result of which it becomes difficult to allocate different data messages in the correct time.
