The filtering assembly is hung on the edge of a swimming-pool. It comprises coarse and fine filters, in a filter pipe inserted in the water, together with a pump, and return pipe to convey cleaned water back into the pool. The pump (15), of the immersed motor type, is located under the coarse (8) and fine (9) filters, in, or on, the filter pipe (7). It is only detachably connected to this pipe, and to the return pipe (24). The return pipe may be drawn up to the pool edge (2), where it is connected to a retaining plate (33). ADVANTAGE - This is compact, versatile, and always ready for use, and does not hamper swimmers.
