Dough strip winding up device - with automatic release of thrust belt return pulley to initiate strip winding up (NL 30.10.78)

A dough strip winding-up device downstream of a dough rolling stand has a belt conveyor which runs at a higher speed than the discharge belt from the rolls. Both strands of this belt are supported by pulleys but the return pulley is mounted on a swivelling arm. In a start position, the arm is swung up so that the belt encompasses a part of a drive reel on which the dough strip is wound up. A detent is then released and the return pulley is released to allow a free winding-up of the dough strip. This device can be readily added to any existing dough rolling stand. It requires not additional personnel and initiates the winding-up operation without having to stop the reel.
