The concentration solar spherical heat collector comprises a sphere partly, transparent and partly reflective, in whose focal area a light-receiver is mounted. This converts light into heat and transmits it to a heat-conductive fluid. The sphere (8,9) turns freely about an axis passing through its centre and in a plane perpendicular to the solar rays. It has an aiming sight (20) allowing the central optical axis of the reflector to be aligned with the sun at a particular time. A motor (14) turns the collector about this axis in synchronism with the movement of the sun, in order to maintain the alignment.
