Self contained diving aqualung - has two separate inner compartments with one divided into three by membranes

The self contained aqualung has an outer rigid body (20) with an inner rigid perforated partition (9). This gives two separate compartments (3 & 4). One (4) is divided into three successive chambers by two rigid perforated plates (7) with two soft membranes placed in each end chamber. These form enclosures (1,2) communicating with the intermediate chamber across one plate. Inside the intermediate chamber is a rigid air safety reservoir (5). Inside one compartment, divided into three, is stored expired air. The other compartment (3) acts as a transit tank for this expired air.
