The houses are formed by parallelepipedal base modules on which are placed storey height modules, that form at least part of the roof. Two base modules (101,102) are joined by one of their corners so that two neighbouring walls (13,14) make an angle of 60 degrees between them and the bisector of the angle between them runs north - south. Solar collector modules are then placed on the walls (13,14,15) so that they are directed at 30 degrees to both sides of the south pointing bisector.
