A dust-removing device (7) carried by a heading machine and formed by a polluted air suction device (8), a filtering device (10), a filtered air displacement device (17) and a filtered air delivery device (12) characterized in that the filtered air delivery device is formed by an enclosure having the shape of a right-angled parallelepiped (25) disposed at the rear of the polluted air suction device (8) and provided on each lower and upper face with two rectilinear slots (26) situated in two planes perpendicular to the axis of the dust-removing device, the filtered air displacement device (17) being formed by a centrifugal wheel (17) which causes a change of 180 degrees in the direction of the air.
