The appts. regulates deep and shrill tones of sounds reproduced by the loudspeakers. It has a number of control devices such as potentiometers (1) which each corresp. to a range of values to be adjusted. Each is coupled to a control mechanism (2) associated with an individual moving position reference mark (6) and to a graduation (4). A means for memorising the position in which each control device is found after the initial permanent adjustment of the value retained for each range is provided. This leaves the corresp. control mechanism free for additional adjustments, the combination of the original and additional adjustments giving a total correction. The memory device for the position of the control devices is implemented by making individually adjustable either each control device or each control mechanism, or each reference mark, or each graduation. Thus, each control device may have a control lever (2) moving in front of a fixed graduation. The lever receives a cap (5) which carries the position reference mark (6) and which can be made integral with the lever at a number of different relative positions.
