Two part plastic mould mfg. pressed cheese - is perforated to drain whey and internally textured to simulate cheese cloth

A mould in which curds is pressed to drain out whey and produce cheese. The mould assembly comprises a mould cavity and a mould cavity cover which can be pressed down inside the cavity like a piston on top of the curd. Both mould cavity unit and cover are made of plastic. The curds-contacting surfaces of the cavity base cavity wall and cover base are textured with shallow embossing to simulate cheesecloth. The cavity base, cavity wall and cover base are perforated with 1mm dia. Holes spaced a 2 to 5mm. Whey drains directly through mould walls, base and cover, eliminating the need for and problems associated with cheese cloth.
