Optical control by light variation of a computer controlling a sound synthesiser and an image synthesiser

The invention relates to a musical composition generator of the type controlled by variation of light allowing musical, synthetic-musical production, by virtue of a controller and a computer program for light/sound conversion and musical composition. It consists of: one or more panels 1, covered with optical sensors 2, a controller 4, a computer 5, provided with its dialogue peripherals (keyboard 6 plus VDU 7), and storage peripherals (disc units 8), a sound synthesiser, either digital or analog 9, controlled by the computer 5, a sound reproducer 10, an image synthesiser 11, capable of being linked to the computer 5, a video camera 3, capable of replacing the optical sensors 2. Among the most interesting applications of the invention may be mentioned the medical context, music therapy, choreography, public places, teaching, image media of the screen type, musical animation produced by fish in an aquarium.
