This machine, resting on some caissons which have been previously installed in their correct position, for spreading, distributing and levelling the materials on a seabed, comprises a structure 1 which is sufficiently high to emerge above the sea level 9, a hopper 13 carried by this structure and intended for receiving the materials which are to be spread, distributed and levelled, a tube 14 for carrying the materials downwards from this hopper, inclined forwards so that its front part may penetrate into the sea, in front of this structure, a delivery chute 15 at the lower part of this tube, means for moving transversely on this structure, alternately in one direction and in the other, and simultaneously, the hopper, the tube and the delivery chute, by an amplitude equal to the width of the layer of materials which it is desired to obtain, a blade 18, 20 of same width, arranged behind this delivery chute and the lower edge of which is intended for levelling the layer of materials as they are progressively spread and as the machine advances, and a jack 21, at each end of the blade, making it possible to raise or lower its end.
